Found that quote on tumblr just now and thought I'd share it.

Two things this week: Went to the doctor for a check-up to make sure I'm up to date with all of my vaccinations and what not.  Got my tetanus/whooping cough shot, plus the flu shot (wasn't planning on getting that one but she convinced me...).  Otherwise there isn't too much to be afraid of in NZ that I'd need other vaccinations for.

Second, Liz and I spent a few hours sorting out the money we needed to wire to NZ for our residency deposit.  Luckily $1.00 of NZ money = $0.79 of US money, so it was kind of like getting a discount on our residency deposits!

Also, last night Liz and I were walking together and she said, "So New Zealand is coming up really fast." And then I realized that it is only a month and half away!  That time will fly right by.  I'm glad I decided against taking a winTerm class because then I wouldn't have as much time to spend at home with my family...not to mention my brother Nate and I have a long over-due ski trip date that needs to be attended too (excited to hit the slopes again!).  And I will have more time to see my Up North friends and have proper goodbyes.
