A few people have told me to keep blogging even though I'm back. Well, I don't have much to say. I miss my 10 hours of sleep and afternoon nap that I used to have every day in Whanganui. It's also strange having a 2 day weekend. Only 2 days? I mean come on! Hahahaha. It's been fun working 5 days a week (not) plus a summer class. But the weather has been just beautiful. A little dry, could definitely use some rain...but hey, I'm not gonna complain about sunshine. Not to mention my blood tests for working at the hospital came back saying a have a Vitamin D deficiency soooo...if that isn't a prescription to go to the beach then I don't know what is!
Other things keeping me happy and busy are: biking to work and back, reading ("the perks of being a wallflower" was excellent) going to open mic at Stage North (not as cool as the Whanganui Musicians Club but...it will fill the void for now), playing volleyball with quarter-hispanic-Joe (got battle wounds to prove it), catching up with Ashland folk ("OH EM GEE I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU SINCE HIGH SCHOOL" conversations), and of course seeing some long-time friends AD & Melissa :))))).
AAAAAnd here are some photos because I don't have much else to say except that I absolutely can't wait to see my STOUT friends, it's been killing me that I don't get to see 'em until the end of August when I move back to school.

paints it with fire, and the flames change the
color of the copper. So neat! |

I don't love living here. But I love Lake Superior. And I gotta admit, this place has it's special moments. It's not that bad. And when I think about it....not much different from Whanganui. Kind of similar in size and in the types of people that live here. And Whanganui was not that bad. :)
