For GD History we had to make potato prints. It's pretty self-explanatory: you cut a potato in half and carve away the parts you don't want, dip it in India ink, and use it like a stamp. Don't ask me what that has to do with anything. (Actually it relates to relief printing and letter press or whatever.) Anyway, I got kind of into it. Like, if I had my own bag of potatoes I would have kept making stuff. But I was using some from Liz, bless her soul.
I think in the future I would like to do this with Chelsie and Rachel during one of our SNL nights, since they like dorky crafty stuff like this. This is why we're friends! ;)

Not gonna lie, if these prints were on something other than a piece of paper - like say on a wall a zillion times, you'd be one potato print short of a serial killer. I think its the blood red color and the image of me hearing you mutter to yourself: "I am Kiwi."
ReplyDeleteI walk the streets of Wanganui at night with a potato in one hand and a knife in the other.
