Laughing.

For the most part all the big frustrations are over. (I was fuming on Tuesday, Liz and Chris know)  I finally got my Ucol ID today (as class was ending) and now I have a log in for the school computers and an after hours pin #, which I'll definitely need for 3D Modeling.  And I have a pigeon hole so I can recieve my mail!  (Yeah, Mom, just got your valentines card today...THANKS!)  Also, I've noticed that I tend to write a lot of things (in parentheses).

So a month has gone by.  And I already feel like there is not enough time to be here.  I can see myself flying home, wishing I had planned to stay longer.

NO I SHOULDN'T THINK ABOUT THAT.

Graphic Design 3 today was a hoot and a half.  No, really.  I showed the Milk commercials Emily and I made for our Video Productions class to my group member, Aika, because I was explaining to her what Got Milk? was and how milk and cows are a big deal in America/Wisconsin/California.  And then we went on about bad roommates and landlords and...I haven't laughed that hard since Chris was assembling his nastier-than-a-walmart-bike over a week ago (but that's a different story involving sharp objects, tape, and curse words).  Someone once told me laughing is the shortest distance between two people.  I'd say that's true.  And universal too.  There's something about having a good laugh with someone, even a stranger, or a group of people, that just makes everything easier.  I don't know how to explain it, and if you don't know what I mean, then you haven't had a good enough laugh....and I feel a bit sorry for you.

Moving on...today has been windy.  Windy like Maslowski Beach in Ashland.  Windy like walking on the sidewalk and a flying twig takes a chunk out of your arm.  Windy like--whatever you get it.

That's alright, I don't need to go outside because really I should be working on my homework.  What is that, homework?  Just kidding.  But my projects are pretty cool.  I get to redesign a book cover for Alice in Wonderland, 3D model random stuff in my room, and look up favorite designs to analyze and deconstruct later.  Not too shabby if ya don't mind me saying.

I will try to track the progress of my projects on here, might be fun.

And so, I should bid farewell to this post.  Adios.

I'm a real student now!

UPDATE:

I made french toast for dinner.  Breakfast is my fav any time of the day.  FYI golden syrup is not to be mistaken for maple syrup (oops).  It's honey.  But still delicious on french toast.

Eatin' good in the neighborhood.
