Illustration Pen & Ink.

Well since I showed you a GD3 project, I thought I'd reveal the pen & ink project from illustration that I did.  For this project we were given 3 pages from a book, we picked out different words on the page to make a new idea out of context from the book, painted over the rest of the page, and then illustrated something to go along with the new phrase.

I got an A, not an A+.  Normally I couldn't care less about a grade that is already decent enough.  But in this case I do, which is saying a lot.  And you can ask me in person sometime why this bothers me so much and we'll have a lovely chat about it.  Let's just say one of them "needed more development" but it isn't the one with the random fish swimming in a circle for no reason unrelated to anything ever.  Literally drew them because I thought it would be pretty.  That is all.

Other than that I think this is a really great project.  Would have liked to spend more time on the concepts and maybe find away to make all three images connect so that they fulfilled each other rather than needing to stand alone to be successful.

"I think we must value character"

"Growth and stability are complementary ideas"

"Man should not think of Time as a friend."
