Here are photos from our walk to Virginia Lake yesterday. Lots of birds there...they are used to being fed by people so they walk right up to you!!! It was fun. And we saw black swans....so cool. I wish I had gotten better pictures of them. Virginia Lake has lots of nice trails...it looks very well kept. Good job Wanganui! Near the lake there was a green house called Winter Garden, very beautiful flowers inside and an emergency exit that looks like a hobbit door! And then we got ice cream at a cafe. What a perfect Friday afternoon.
